Abstrak

Jalan Kolonel Masturi in Cimahi City is a flexible pavement road that serves as a primary collector road connecting West Bandung Regency with Cimahi City. Visually, the surface condition of this road is poor in several spots, affecting the comfort and safety of road users. The aim of this study is to assess the road surface condition based on Overseas Road Note 18, with tested parameters including skid resistance and surface roughness at every 50-meter interval. The skid resistance values obtained using the British Pendulum Tester with a minimum BPN value of 45 ranged from 40-75 in both directions. Out of 40 test points, 2 points did not meet specifications and are recommended for periodic maintenance. The surface roughness values obtained from the Roadroid application with an IRI value ranging from 0.5-4.5 in both directions showed 3 points with IRI values above 4. IRI value below 4 indicates a road in good condition with a recommendation for routine maintenance, while an IRI value above 4 indicates a road in fair condition with a recommendation for periodic maintenance. Based on the obtained skid resistance and surface roughness values, it shows that this road requires some maintenance at several points.
