PENGARUH KOORDINASI FRONT OFFICE DAN HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT TERHADAP TINGKAT AKURASI OPERASIONAL
Abstract
Abstract : Influence ofcoordination between the front office and housekeeping departments
on the level of operational accuracy. The desk clerk’s delay in updating the status of the
rooms is a
problem in the room cleaning process done by the room-attendant, so an order
taker has to wait for the information from the room supervisor for changing the status
of hotel rooms in the system. This study aims to determine the influence of coordination
between Front Office and Housekeeping departments on the level of operational accuracy.
The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling method
is purposive sampling method. The author collected and processed the data by distributing
questionnaires to hotel guests and distributed questionnaires were assigned weights based
on the Likert scale ratings.The data were analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation with
a significance level of 0.05.It can be concluded that coordination between Front office and
Housekeeping departments significantly influences the level of accuracy. Hence, Ha is
accepted and Ho is rejected.It means that there is a significant correlation of the coordination
between the Front Office and Housekeeping with the operational accuracy .
