Abstract

Abstract: Local Community Perception toward Theme Park ‘Gunung Tumpa’  Development as Ecotourism Attraction.  This study aims to explore local community’s perceptions of the planning and development of People’s Forest Park of the Mt. Tumpa as Ecotourism attraction. Descriptive qualitative research methods are used to describe or use the details obtained from respondent’s explanation supported by data that are quantitative. Respondents sampling technique is purposive. The results show that the community support the establishment of this area is to become ecotourism attraction
