Perancangan Media Promosi Produk Gula Semut di Desa Koreng Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan

The palm sugar business made from sap derived from the male flower bunches of the palm tree is currently one of the national strategic commodities to be reckoned with. Koreng Village is a producer of palm sugar as one of the superior products in South Minahasa Regency. Based on the results of the situation analysis, it was found that ant sugar is not widely known because marketing is only done by collectors, there is no company identity or logo and packaging is less attractive. This study aims to 1) Design a promotional media for ant sugar in the village of Koreng, South Minahasa Regency 2) design an attractive and safe packaging for ant sugar products in the village of Koreng, South Minahasa Regency. The research method was carried out by observing one of the UMKM, literature review. Furthermore, it is analyzed to design promotional media using the PicsArt application. The visual identity is in the form of a logo name, namely Mekril by adding elements of palm tree leaves. The promotional media are proposed to have competitiveness, namely brochures, billboards, posters, catalogs, nameplates, business cards, packaging, and stickers. Through this design, we want to improve the brand image of mekril ant sugar in the village of Koreng, South Minahasa Regency
