Penerapan Android Aplikasi Pada Sistem Pemesanan Makanan Khas Padang Di Kota Manado

Abstrak

With information technology that is currently developing, information management can be carried out in a more actual and optimal manner. The use of information technology aims to achieve efficiency in various aspects of information management, which is indicated by the speed and timeliness of processing. Mobile technology is one of the most widely used technologies. Currently, many people have taken advantage of the sophistication of smartphones to facilitate their activities. This also has an impact on the restaurant industry where entrepreneurs compete to provide comfort for their customers, including Padang Raya Restaurant.

This study aims to design an online food ordering application based on Android using smartphone media as a liaison between the user (customer) and Padang Raya Restaurant to make it easier for customers to make the food ordering process.

The results of the design and manufacture of this system indicate that the online food ordering application is able to be operated online by first installing it on an Android smartphone. Starting from the user doing the registration process to create an account at the restaurant, after the registration process is successful the user can login to the application using the email and password that has been registered correctly. Next the user will enter the application, on the application page the user who wants to order food can choose the type of food menu by looking at the picture of each food menu. Later all ordering data, such as the type of food menu ordered, the type of service, and the user's address will appear on the restaurant admin web server display and will then be processed by the restaurant, with the position of the order location being tracked directly with GPS. By combining Android technology and Web Services, the application can be used on smartphone devices.
