Pemetaan Tingkat Konflik Berdasarkan Pelanggaran Menggunakan Metode Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) di Jalan Laswi Kota Bandung

Traffic conflicts are an indicator that can be used to identify potential accidents before they occur. Jalan Laswi in Bandung City is an urban arterial road with high traffic activity, where various violations, such as U-turns, crossings, and counter-traffic, are still found, potentially increasing traffic conflicts. This study aims to identify the types of conflicts, determine the level of seriousness of the conflicts based on violations using the Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) method, and map the distribution of conflict levels on Jalan Laswi in Bandung City. Data collection was conducted through a survey of traffic volume, traffic conflicts, vehicle speeds, and distance between vehicles over three days of observation. Analysis was conducted using Time to Accident (TA) and Traffic Conflict (TC) parameters. The results show that conflicts are dominated by U-turns, crossings, and counter-traffic, with the highest concentration in Segment 3. The highest TA value of 0.52 seconds is categorized as a non-serious conflict, while the lowest value of 0.10 seconds is categorized as a serious conflict. The highest conflict rate reached 100,504 conflicts per 1,000 vehicles in Segment 3 northbound, while the lowest conflict rate was 0.131 conflicts per 1,000 vehicles in Segment 1 northbound. The results of the study indicate that the TCT method is effective in identifying priority locations for handling and supporting preventive traffic safety efforts.
